Do I need a doctor's prescription?

Yes. A prescription is required before your first treatment. We make the process simple by arranging this through our service, so you don't need to organise a separate appointment with your own doctor. The once-off prescription fee is $50 and is valid for 12 months.

How does the IV treatment process work?

We begin with a short consultation to assess your suitability and determine which infusion is right for you. A prescription is obtained from our Doctor, and then Brooke will administer your chosen infusion while you relax. Most treatments take approximately 45–60 minutes.

All IV infusions are administered by Brooke, a Registered Nurse, with your comfort and safety our priority throughout your treatment.

Where do you offer treatments?

Refresh Aesthetics offers both mobile and in-clinic IV therapy in and around Perth Metro and NOR. Choose the convenience of having treatments in the comfort of your home, workplace, hotel or another suitable location, or visit our Neerabup Clinic, located inside Karmic Recovery for the same quality care.

Does having an IV hurt?

You may feel a small pinch or sting when the cannula is inserted. Once it is in place, the infusion should be comfortable. We take the time to make sure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout your treatment.

How long does a treatment take?

Most IV infusions take approximately 45–60 minutes. It's your time to relax, catch up on emails, read a book or simply switch off.

Can I create my own custom drip?

Absolutely. Our Custom IV Drip starts from $250, with extra vitamins added for $30 each.

Can I have an IV while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Pregnancy and breastfeeding require individual medical consideration. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please speak with your GP or relevant healthcare professional before booking. We may require medical clearance before treatment.

Are there any side effects?

IV therapy is generally well tolerated, however, as with any medical treatment, there can be potential risks or side effects. These may include mild discomfort, bruising or irritation around the IV site. Your health history will be reviewed before treatment to ensure the infusion is appropriate for you.

Do you offer iron infusions?

No. We do not provide iron infusions. Due to the increased risk of serious allergic reactions, we believe iron infusions are best administered in an appropriate clinical or hospital setting.

Do I need to prepare anything before my appointment?

We recommend eating normally and staying well hydrated before your appointment. Please have details of any medications, supplements, allergies or relevant medical conditions available for your health assessment.

Can I return to my normal activities afterwards?

Most clients can return to their usual activities after their infusion, with no significant downtime. We recommend listening to your body and taking it easy if you need to.
